    2018-2019 SMP Laptop Program
Following two years of evaluation and discussion, we have decided to move to a 1:1 Mac laptop environment at the Sugar Mill Pond Campus for the 2018-2019 school year, where every student and teacher will have access to an Apple laptop. We feel this is a crucial next step to ensure that our students are not limited in the work they create and continue to develop important 21st-century skills. For the 2018-2019 school year, students will need access to an Apple laptop at school. Students may either bring a personal Apple laptop or the school will have them available through an annual lease program.

We know this change brings with it all sorts of questions. Attached are several documents which explains in detail the necessity for this move and should help answer many of your questions. As always, please feel free to reach out to techsupport@ascensionbluegators.org with any further questions or concerns.

Do you need help deciding to rent vs. buy? Click HERE

To help our students make this transition, we are offering a FREE summer class, called LAPTOP LESSONS that we highly encourage our students to attend. Click here for more information.

Laptop Rental Pick Up/Personal Device Check-in:
When: July 26th or July 27th
    Where: SMP Library
    Time: 12-2pm

    Please Note:
    • All students are expected to pick up/check-in their devices within the designated time period above.
    • On these dates, a starter guide will be included/issued and should be read through in its entirety prior to the first day of school.
    • If SMP students are unavailable to pick up/check-in their device on the dates mentioned, device pick up/check-in will be in the Library starting at 7:30 am on August 8th and 9th.
