Spiritual Life

Worship Services

Through Christian education, chapel, and Eucharistic celebrations, we live out our identity as a Christian school in the Anglican tradition with a goal of providing students the opportunity to grow in mind, body, and spirit, to know God as love, and to recognize His love for them.

Preschool

Preschool students attend informal chapel services weekly on Wednesdays. Regardless of faith traditions, students are encouraged to participate in prayer and song. Our weekly interactive Christian Education curriculum, Play-N-Worship, features play-along Bible stories to teach our preschoolers about Jesus. They learn to worship God through music, movement, and activities. Weekly lessons not only help our children learn stories about Jesus’ miracles but also develop an understanding and appreciation for God’s love.

Lower & Middle School

First through fourth graders attend chapel each morning, while fifth through seventh graders attend chapel each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. All lower and middle school students celebrate Holy Eucharist bi-weekly on Thursdays. Regardless of their faith traditions, students are encouraged to participate in prayer and song.

Upper School

With services following The Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer, upper school chapel services occur three times per week, and the Holy Eucharist celebrations occur bi-weekly. Chapel is our community time to gather to hear and meditate on Holy Scripture and offer prayers and praise to God as people of faith. The Holy Eucharist, the Church’s principal act of Christian worship, is the sacrament commanded by Christ for the continual remembrance of His life, death, and resurrection until His coming again.
