Week one of the 2021-2022 school year was a memorable one! Although feeling a lot like last year with masks, postponed events, and quarantine, our students and faculty brought a positive energy and attitude to the first week of school.
We welcomed over 660 new and returning students on our three campuses and with one week down, the first-day jitters are gone and the routines are setting in. Students are already conducting experiments, completing homework, and making new friends.
With still so many unknowns about what the 2021-2022 school year will look like, our Ascension community is trusting in the Lord’s path. This year’s chosen scripture reads, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6”
With the Lord directing Ascension, we trust this year will be a great one filled with gentle, generous, truthful, kind, and brave Blue Gators.
The Episcopal Church of the Ascension School (Ascension Episcopal School) admits qualified students without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. We are a welcoming community.
