Ascension Community Gives Back

Ascension Episcopal School
Thank you to our Blue Gator Family, for always showing your compassion and care for others and living out our school prayer virtues of generosity and kindness, especially in times of need.

In an effort to help our neighbors affected by Hurricane Ida, Ascension partnered with United Way of Acadiana, Catholic Charities of Acadiana, and Second Harvest Food Bank - Feeding South Louisiana collecting food and supplies on all three of our campus /locations. In addition, UMS Wright, a preparatory school in Mobile, AL reached out to join us in our efforts by donating items on an Amazon wish-list! These items arrived on campus and have been included in our drop-off to United Way. Thanks for showing up for impacted Louisiana communities, UMS Wright!

Our volleyball team competed in an Ida Relief Tournament held in Lafayette at Cajun Elite Facility. All Proceeds from both the gate and concessions along with food & toiletries collected on site were donated to the high schools affected by the hurricane.

We know there is much recovery to come in the upcoming weeks and months, and we hope to continue to be a part of the rebuilding process for those impacted.
