Lower School Art Teacher to Present at InSEA World Congress Art Convention
Hats off to our Lower School Visual Arts Teacher, Tina Frederick, who was recently named as a presenter for the prestigious InSEA World Congress Art convention this summer in Vancouver. The InSEA World Congress offers art educators an opportunity to theorize and practice aspects of "making" in art education. Making is concerned with a sense of material and immaterial approaches, global movements of ideas, anticipated changes and perceptual shifts. Tina's presentation will focus on "Making, and a Sense of Place" how visiting the prehistoric caves in Lascaux, France, influenced her own personal art methods and classroom teaching.
