The Upper School at Ascension Episcopal invites students to think critically, collaborate, take healthy risks, and serve others before self within a Christ-centered community— it is where education is more than just learned content, but rather inspired learning put into practice and cultivated by dedicated faculty.
We offer this experience through small class size, course and college counseling, dynamic scheduling, balanced excellence in academics, spiritual life, the arts, and athletics, as well as a commitment to service and leadership. All of these components offer our students opportunities to not only engage in the student life experience but to feel empowered as they travel through their years at our Sugar Mill Pond Campus.
Our upper school students are known and celebrated— both byproducts of the quality of relationships between students and faculty. Our students are encouraged to find a passionate interest through special programs. With opportunities to take AP and Dual Enrollment courses, as well as engage in the use of transformative technology, our students are held to a high standard of achievement— one that is based not only on the strength of their schedule but on the strength of their character, as well. They practice independence, decision-making, and they know the importance of accountability.
Our graduate profile is robust and valued. It is built on tradition and pride. Blue Gators are stewards of the mind, body, and spirit— and, through their stewardship, they come to know God as love, and they come to know His love for them.
Welcome to Upper School at Ascension!
