Tuition & Assistance

Ascension strives to serve every family who desires to be part of a community dedicated to educational excellence in a Christian environment. We also recognize that some of those families may feel that the cost of attendance makes it impossible to afford what they want for their children. Our Tuition Assistance program is intended to help make Ascension accessible to those families whose children would thrive here. Before assuming Ascension is out of reach, please apply and talk with Angelle Adams, Director of Admissions, to see how we can work together to serve your family.
At Ascension Episcopal School, BALANCE is a priority. High standards are not reserved for academics only. Students also grow, thrive, and excel in arts, athletics, and Christian values through opportunities, acceptance, and support.

Tuition Assistance

Ascension awards assistance as determined using the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management platform, a third-party financial aid analysis service, to ensure fairness in the process.  All applications and conversations regarding tuition assistance remain confidential within the Tuition Assistance Committee.
For any financial aid application to be considered, you must first apply for school admission. No tuition assistance will be awarded prior to acceptance at Ascension.

Awards are made for a one-year term. Families must request renewal each year by completing a Financial Aid application form. The Tuition Assistance Committee reviews all financial aid materials and recommends award amounts.  Results are reviewed beginning in mid-February, and notification of an award amount (if any) will be sent directly to the family after evaluation. After this, applications will be reviewed at least every two weeks. Please keep in mind that upon completion of the application, it may take a while for the service to return the results. This turnaround time may be longer during busy times of the year.

An application does not guarantee assistance, and assistance granted is limited to the funds available. We encourage families in need of assistance to apply as soon as possible to increase the possibility of getting assistance. Applications open on February 1, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year.
