We are thrilled to invite you to a series of special events celebrating the 65th anniversary of Ascension Episcopal School! This milestone is a testament to the enduring spirit and commitment of our community, and we are excited to honor the rich history and bright future of our school together. Join us as we reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements, and look forward to the next chapter in our school's story.

We hope you will join us at any (or all!) of the 65th Anniversary events as we honor the rich history of Ascension Day School/Ascension Episcopal School! 

Whether you are a 5th grade graduate, a high school graduate, or only attended Ascension for one year, we consider you as an Alum and part of the Ascension family!  Alumni faculty/staff, Alumni parents, current families, students, faculty & staff, current or former Ascension board members, Ascension friends...anyone who calls Ascension Day School or Ascension Episcopal School home is welcome!

We hope you will all plan to join us, but please RSVP by October 4 so we can be prepared for all the events!

Stop by on your way into the game and sign in at the Alumni Tent!  All Alumni will receive free admission to the game.

🏈  Homecoming football game, Ascension vs. Gueydan 
All Alumni will be recognized at halftime!

🙏 Special 65th Anniversary Chapel Service
Join us for a special chapel service in the Episcopal Church of the Ascension sanctuary.  We will sing old songs, remember the school prayer, and other special traditions.

💙🐊 65th Anniversary Brunch & Celebration
Join us in the Downtown Campus Gym for a morning of celebration and festivities!  
         ⏰ 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
         📍Downtown Campus Gym, 1030 Johnston St.
Order of Events
  • “Come and Go" Brunch beginning at 10:00 am
  • Welcome and presentation begin at 10:30 am
  • ONGOING FESTIVITIES
    • Visit with the founder of our school, Dr. Jeanette Parker!  
    • Memorabilia exhibit with items from Ascension's archives!
    • Running slideshow with photos and movies from the early years!
    • Class projects from auctions of the past on display! 
    • Campus Tours led by our middle school students!
    • Shop our newest Gator Shack items!
    • Take a picture in the photo booth with Coach Larry Sciambra!  
We hope that you will spend this time connecting with old friends, teachers, and classmates, and enjoy being back on the Downtown Campus of Ascension!
