A huge congratulations to all! Our top mathlete, Trey Daly, is advancing to the invitational competition after ranking 8th in the competition.
In previous years, only the 4 members of the "team" were official competitors and the other ten were exhibitions. This year, due to the competition being virtual because of COVID, each student competed as individuals. Last year, three Ascension mathletes placed in the top 20 in our local chapter. This year, seven of our mathletes scored in the top 20!
Even though the competition looked different this year, we are grateful our mathletes had the opportunity to compete. Geaux Gators!
When it comes to our children, one of the most important gifts we can provide for them is opportunity. It not only prepares them for their future but also gives them the independence to discover and define who they are: who they want to be. Our faculty and staff focus on developing the whole child, with a curriculum designed to teach lifelong learning skills.
