Summer Milam Simm is welcomed back for inaugural Alumni Address
Ascension Episcopal School
Did you know Ascension’s dance team was started because one student had a dream? Do you remember the time before the pavilion or football field were a part of our upper school campus?
Summer Milam Simm, class of 2013, spoke to upper school students about being in the first 8th-grade class on the Sugar Mill Pond Campus, starting traditions, teams, and clubs that now seem ingrained in the school, and how Ascension has shaped who she is today... down to her career choice.
What an honor to have had Summer and her husband Alex Simm, 8th grade Ascension alum - class of 2005, back on campus. We hope current students have the opportunity to dive into interests and subjects that bring them joy like Summer did many years ago.
Once a Blue Gator, always a Blue Gator!
If you know an alumni that would like to be considered for next year’s alumni address or is interested in contributing to the school in some other way, email Marilyn Lee at mlee@ascensionbluegators.org.
