Middle School Student Council Awarded Honors at State Convention

Ascension Episcopal School
Over the weekend, 14 student leaders from our middle school student council and 3 courageous faculty advisors traveled to West Monroe High School for the Louisiana Association of Student Councils convention. Students heard from motivational speakers, attended skill-building sessions, heard amazing ideas from student leaders from across the state of what worked well for their school community, and earned awards!

Ascension’s middle school student received several honors!
  • Student Council Week Merit Award for unselfish and dedicated service in promoting the ideals and goals of the Student Council program in the school and community.
  • Gold Council for an exemplary record of leadership, service, and activities that serve to improve the school and community in the state of Louisiana
  • District V Vice President
  • Graycen Daly ‘28 placed 1st in the middle school-level essay contest
