2023 High School Teacher Awards finalists model kindness, challenge students
The United Way of Acadiana has selected its 2023 Teacher Awards finalists for the high school category.
The three finalists - Shome Dasgupta of Ascension Episcopal School, Chase McDonald of David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy, and James Quebedeaux of Acadiana High School - were selected from more than 1,200 nominees from every teaching level across Lafayette Parish.
The winners will be announced at 7 p.m. on March 16 during a ceremony at the Heymann Performing Arts Center. Tickets can still be purchased online.
