Students Partner with Parish Proud to Beautify Campus
Ascension Episcopal School
Upper school students and Ascension’s facilities team partnered with Parish Proud to transform the Sugar Mill Pond Campus into a cleaner and greener place. The service project included pulling weeds, trimming branches, planting flowers, and spreading mulch near our main academic building.
Many students stayed well past the end of their designated time because they enjoyed being outside and beautifying their campus. Volunteering students learn the value of serving others and gain an appreciation for the world around them.
There will be additional opportunities for students next year, but given the positive response to this service project, we are sure it will become an annual event!
The Episcopal Church of the Ascension School (Ascension Episcopal School) admits qualified students without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. We are a welcoming community.
