Blue Gators Golf Captures Seventh Straight State Title
Ascension Episcopal School
Ascension Episcopal School’s boys golf team has once again etched its name into Louisiana high school sports history, capturing the Division III state championship for the seventh consecutive year!
Despite weather challenges that shortened the LHSAA state tournament to 27 holes, the Blue Gators remained poised and focused—delivering a performance that secured them the WIN.
Leading the team effort was sophomore Noah Chauvin, who earned his second individual state title with a score of 2-under-par 106. Chauvin demonstrated impressive composure, rebounding from an early double bogey with two clutch birdies to help secure both individual and team victories.
Head coach Logan Ray praised the team’s legacy of excellence and commitment. He described the achievement as unprecedented, emphasizing that it reflects both the school’s strong commitment to its golf program and the dedication of the players. He noted that the team understands they’re part of a larger tradition—one they’re determined to uphold. With that mindset, they rose to the occasion and delivered another standout performance.
With this remarkable seventh straight title, Ascension Episcopal continues to set the standard for high school golf in Louisiana. The Blue Gators now look ahead to the 2026 season with eyes on making history yet again.
