While Bella Biggerstaff dominated the 2-mile race, the entire team delivered a strong and balanced performance at the 1A State Track & Field Championships at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium in Baton Rouge. Multiple athletes scored across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws.

Molly Cormier ‘25 — 2nd in Girls Discus and 4th in Girls Javelin
Hayes Trotter ‘26 — 2nd in Boys 800m
Branon Mitchell ‘26 — 2nd in Javelin and 6th in Long Jump
Ella Grace Hebert ‘26— 3rd in Girls High Jump
Andre Abshire ‘26 — 4th in both Boys 110m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles
Hylece Mitchell ‘28 — 7th in Girls Long Jump
The girls' team placed 5th overall.
The boys’ team placed 9th overall.
The meet showed the program's depth and versatility. With a core group returning next year, the team is poised to build on this momentum and make an even stronger push next season.
