Ascension Episcopal will have a lot to build on, beginning with a returning starter at quarterback in Cade Dardar and three seasoned performers back on the offensive line in J-Paul Guidry, Peyton Peebles, and Caden Culpepper.

First-year coach Stephen Hearen said he’s content with Dardar’s numbers of 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season, but he wants him to grow in other team aspects.
